Food is a big part of cruising, and we know our fellow cruisers are always eager to see what is available at the different restaurants onboard. So, we are back from a family cruise on Celebrity Summit and have put together this Celebrity Summit Restaurants Guide complete with menus and all the details for each venue.

Celebrity Summit Complimentary Restaurants

While one of the smaller ships in the Celebrity Cruises fleet, Celebrity Summit does still feature a variety of dining options that are included in your cruise fare. These include the Cosmopolitan main dining room, the Oceanview Cafe buffet, and a few other casual options.

Additionally, those staying in a suite will have access to the Retreat and its exclusive Restaurant, Luminae (Deck 4). Similarly, if you are staying in an Aqua Class cabin, you have your own exclusive restaurant, Blu (Deck 5). These venues offer distinct and more upscale menu selections than the main dining room.

Celebrity Summit restaurants guide

With diverse offerings, you certainly do not have to pay extra for dining on Celebrity Summit (if you don’t want to). Though, the ship also offers a few specialty restaurants that are worth a try.

Cosmopolitan Restaurant – Decks 4 & 5

Cosmopolitan Restaurant is the main dining room on Celebrity Summit. This restaurant is located on Decks 4 and 5. Cosmopolitan is open for breakfast each morning from around 7:30-9 AM. The venue also serves lunch on sea days (which was only once on our port intensive itinerary) from around 12-1:30 PM.

Cosmopolitan features a 3-course meal every evening of the cruise. Cruisers can choose either the early seating (6 PM) or the late seating (8:30 PM) on Celebrity Summit. Or, if you prefer something a bit more flexible, the cruise line offers Celebrity Select Dining between 5:30 and 9 PM. Cruisers can make Celebrity Select reservations pre-cruise or join the walk-up line for standby guests.

Regardless of which option you choose, the menu is the same. The menu features some classic dishes every night in addition to featured appetizers, entrees, and desserts that change nightly.

Menus: Breakfast| Lunch | Day 1 Dinner | Day 2 Dinner | Day 3 Dinner | Day 4 Dinner | Day 5 Dinner | Day 6 Dinner | Day 7 Dinner | Kids Menu

Cafe al Bacio – Deck 5

This coffee house located on Deck 5 of Celebrity Summit is a great spot to grab a specialty coffee and a sweet treat any time of day. Open from 6:30 AM to midnight, you can relax, get lost in a good book, or people watch at Cafe al Bacio whenever you want. All pastries are complimentary and change throughout the day.

The specialty coffee and teas are included in Celebrity Cruises Classic and Premium drink packages.

Cafe al Bacio Menu

Spa Cafe – Deck 10

Located in the Solarium, the Spa Cafe serves up healthy light bites as an alternative to the buffet for breakfast and lunch. The Spa Cafe is open for breakfast approximately 7-10 AM and lunch from 12-2 PM. Featuring small plates, smoothies, and fresh pressed juices, this is the perfect spot to grab a quick bite to eat while relaxing on a sea day.

Of note, the Classic drink package does NOT include the smoothies and fresh juices here, but the Premium drink package does.

Spa Cafe Breakfast Menu | Spa Cafe Lunch Menu

Pool Grill – Deck 10

This outdoor, casual venue is a great place to grab some lunch or a midday snack while lounging poolside. Serving up burgers and fries as well as other grill favorites like hot dogs and veggie burgers, the Pool Grill is open daily 11:30 AM-6 PM, weather permitting.

Pool Grill Menu

Oceanview Cafe – Deck 10

If you have sailed on Celebrity Cruises before, then you are very familiar with the Oceanview Cafe. This casual, complimentary buffet is open most of the day. On both sea and port days, the Oceanview Cafe serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

The Oceanview Cafe serves breakfast 7-11 AM (with some early riser options starting at 6:30 AM) and lunch 12-3 PM daily. For breakfast, you can find your typical selections including fruits, breakfast pastries, cereals, hot menu items such as scrambled eggs, bacon, and sausage, as well as a custom omelet station.

For lunch, you will find a selection of salads, cold cuts and sandwiches, a pasta station, pizza, and other hot dishes which vary each day of the cruise. Lunch themes include Taste of Britain, Taste of Caribbean, Taste of Italy, and the Wonderland buffet featuring seafood selections and a chocolate fondue station.

The Oceanview Cafe also serves dinner nightly from 6-9:30 PM, offering traditional favorites as well as cuisine from around the world with a menu that varies each night. Some themed evenings feature Gourmet Burgers, Taste of Greece, German Sausage Station, Taste of France, Taste of Spain, and more.

Further, the Oceanview Cafe serves late night snacks from 10:30 PM to 1 AM.

As you probably already know, we are not huge fans of buffets, but we do rank Celebrity’s among the best at sea.

Celebrity Summit Specialty Restaurants

While you don’t have to spend money on food while cruising on Celebrity Summit, there are a few upcharge restaurants that might be worth the splurge.

If you plan to dine at any of these restaurants, you should make reservations pre-cruise, as popular dining times and restaurants do fill up quickly.

Tuscan Grille – Deck 3

Celebrity Cruises’ signature Italian steakhouse, Tuscan Grille, offers Italian favorites in a rustic yet sophisticated atmosphere. Open nightly for dinner from 6-9:30 PM, Tuscan Grille will cost you $55 per person to indulge on tasty appetizers, pasta dishes, entrees, and desserts.

This is one of the best Italian restaurants at sea in our opinion; you can’t go wrong with just about anything on the menu. We enjoyed the Short Rib Pappardelle, Chicken Parmesan, House Meatballs, and Limoncello Cheesecake to name a few dishes.

Tuscan Grille Menu | Chef’s Table

Sushi on Five – Deck 5

Sushi on Five serves up sushi and other Japanese specialties nightly for dinner typically from around 3 to 11 PM and on sea days for lunch from noon to 3 PM. Some popular menu options include Kobe Beef Ramen Sliders, Shrimp Tempura, Lobster & Shrimp Wontons, and a variety of sushi rolls. Sushi on Five is a la carte pricing, with most items ranging from $4 to $13 each.

Sushi on Five Menu

Le Petit Chef at Qsine – Deck 11

Le Petit Chef is a digitally enhanced dinner which includes a four-course meal and a “show”. The world-renowned artists of Skullmapping, presented by TableMation, offer this unique 3D experience which expertly pairs tabletop entertainment with an upscale pre-fixe menu.

During this unique experience exclusive to Celebrity Cruises, Le Petit Chef himself will appear on your table to artfully create each course of the menu. This experience has an early seating at 6 PM and a late seating at 8:30 PM. This dining experience is available for an up-charge of $65 per person.

This is a set menu, which is themed to the show. An alternate menu is available, but there isn’t the option for any further substitutions beyond that. During our 7-night cruise, there were two different menus/shows offered— The Magical Cooking Book (first half of the cruise) and Le Menu Extraordinaire (second half of the cruise).

One of the best new cruise ships for 2025 has just set sail! Disney Treasure, Disney Cruise Line’s 6th ship, is now sailing 7-day Caribbean itineraries. If you have plans to cruise on this new ship, we have put together our complete Disney Treasure restaurants guide with menus so you can see what’s available at all the onboard dining spots.

Complimentary Disney Treasure Restaurants

There are several dining options that are included in your cruise fare with Disney Cruise Line. These include the main dining rooms, the Marceline Market buffet, and some other casual options. With so many great offerings, you certainly do not have to pay extra for dining (if you don’t want to). Though, Disney Treasure also offers a few adult-only specialty restaurants that are worth a try.

Disney’s Rotational Dining Concept

Disney Cruise Line does dining differently. Unlike most other cruise lines, which offer flexible dining options or a fixed dining schedule, this cruise line offers only the latter but with a twist.

Disney Treasure restaurants

All cruisers on Disney Treasure get an assigned dining time, either early dining at 5:45 PM or late dining at 8:15 PM. Guests then follow the same dining team through Disney Treasure’s three main dining rooms. Each main dining room offers a distinct ambiance, vibe, and signature menus. The main dining rooms include: 1923, Worlds of Marvel, and Plaza de Coco.

On a 7-day Disney Treasure sailing, this means you will get to enjoy each of the three restaurants twice with different menus each visit. Guests will dine at one of the dining rooms three times based on their rotation, but the special Pirate Night menu will be served across all three dining rooms this evening. A sample rotation would be 1231231.

You can check the Disney Cruise Line Navigator app once onboard the ship to see your specific restaurant rotation.

Each night’s menu features a variety of appetizers, entrees, and desserts. There’s also a Lighter Notes section which includes a specialty salad, sirloin steak, chicken breast, and salmon.

1923 (Deck 3)

The first of Disney Treasure’s main dining rooms is 1923. Named for the year The Walt Disney Company was founded, 1923 is a celebration of the company. The décor in this venue pays homage to the golden age of animation and its Californian heritage. It includes drawings, props, and other tools of the trade.

This restaurant has two smaller venues, Walt Disney and Roy Disney, located on the portside and starboard sides of the ship respectively. These venues are aptly named for the men behind the Disney magic. Regardless of which restaurant you get assigned, you’ll be served the same menu.

The dinner menus include upscale selections like filet mignon, rack of lamb, and lobster tail.

1923 is also open for breakfast and lunch daily, with the exception of embarkation day lunch which is served in Plaza de Coco. Breakfast is generally from 8 to 9:30 AM, and lunch is from 12 to 1:30 PM. Of note, there is no sit-down lunch available during the ship’s visit to Castaway Cay.

Breakfast Menu | Lunch 1 | Lunch 2 | Lunch 3 | Lunch 4 | Lunch 5 | Lunch 6

Cocktail Menu | Dinner Menu 1 | Dessert 1 | Dinner Menu 2 | Dessert 2 | Kids Menu

Worlds of Marvel (Deck 4)

The second of the complimentary Disney Treasure restaurants is Worlds of Marvel. This restaurant is a Marvel cinematic dining adventure at sea. In Avengers: Quantum Encounter, guests play an interactive role in an Avengers mission. They’ll join Ant-Man and Wasp as they protect Quantum Core technology from a fearsome foe. You may even get a special visit from Spider-Man.

New for Disney Treasure is a second show, Marvel Celebration of Heroes: Groot Remix. This more passive show unfolds on the screens throughout the restaurant as guests eat to the beat of hit songs from throughout the decades that are prominently portrayed in the Guardians of the Galaxy movies.

There is a unique menu that goes along with each show featuring items like a tuna steak, chicken schnitzel, beef wellington, and linguini nero.

Plaza de Coco (Deck 5)

Also brand-new on Disney Treasure, Plaza de Coco is the third complimentary main dining room. The story of the Rivera family entertains guests when Miguel and his familia gather in Mariachi Plaza for a colorful, music-filled journey that celebrates family memories. The second dinner, Dia de los Muertos, is when Miguel reunites with his great-great-grandparents.

Noteworthy characters and songs from the Pixar film come to life alongside an array of artful dishes and festive flavors. The menu includes traditional Mexican dishes with a modern touch, such as beef empanadas, chicken enchiladas, pork carnitas, and churros.

With a central stage, communal atmosphere, and vibrant decor, diners are encouraged to sing along with their families during this lively dinner experience.

Mickey and Friends Festival of Foods (Deck 11)

Located in the center of all the action on the pool deck is the Mickey and Friends Festival of Foods. These quick-service stations, styled after a seaside boardwalk, are the perfect spot to grab lunch, dinner, or a snack. The Festival of Foods is open most days from around 11 AM until 6 PM, with the grill remaining open until 9 PM.

This open-air eatery features five themed food stalls: Mickey’s Smokestack Barbecue, Donald’s Cantina, Daisy’s Pizza Pies, Goofy’s Grill, and Minnie’s Delights. For BBQ, guests can sample items like brisket, pulled pork, and sausage. At Donald’s Cantina, guests can build their own tacos, bowls, or burritos. And, at Goofy’s Grill, guests can snack on chicken tenders, fries, burgers, and hot dogs.

The Mickey and Friends Festival of Foods includes a sizable seating area nearby for guests to enjoy their meals.

Mickey’s BBQ | Donald’s Cantina | Daisy’s Pizza | Goofy’s Grill | Minnie’s Soft Serve

Marceline Market (Deck 11)

Named for Walt Disney’s early childhood hometown in Missouri, Marceline Market is a stylish food hall inspired by popular marketplaces around the world. Disney Treasure’s take on the typical cruise ship buffet features a number of food stations, a bar, and both indoor and outdoor seating.

The Marceline Market includes a variety of cuisine from American classics, international selections, seafood options, soups and salads, baked goods and desserts, and more. There is even a kids section featuring items like Mickey waffles for breakfast and chicken tenders for lunch.

Be sure to make your way to the back of the venue as this is where the custom omelet station is in the morning and the seafood bar in the afternoon.

Marceline Market is open for breakfast (around 6:30/7 to 10:45 AM) and lunch (around 12 to 2 PM). It is NOT open for dinner like most other cruise line buffets.

Room Service

Room service is available 24 hours a day on Disney Treasure. Further, most room service items are complimentary on Disney Cruise Line for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

Breakfast items are available for delivery from 5 to 9:30 AM, and the all-day menu is available outside of breakfast hours. The room service menu includes items like soups, salads, burgers, desserts, as well as continental breakfast items. You can also ask for the off-menu Mickey ice cream bars!

Specialty Restaurants on Disney Treasure

While Disney Treasure does offer a number of complimentary dining venues, this new cruise ship also features a few specialty venues. These venues do all have up-charges, are adult-only, and have dress codes.

If you plan to dine at either of the two specialty restaurants, you should make reservations pre-cruise, as popular dining times do fill up quickly.

Disney Treasure restaurants

Palo Steakhouse (Deck 12)

The upscale Palo Steakhouse is located at the aft of the ship. This restaurant is an evolution of the Palo restaurant found on other DCL ships. Now, Palo Steakhouse combines authentic Italian dining with a modern steakhouse.

In a setting inspired by Cogsworth from the Beauty and the Beast film, guests can enjoy an elegant dinner with ocean views as the backdrop. With warm wood tones, shiny metal, and ornate clocks, this venue feels very luxurious.

While dining at Palo Steakhouse, guests can choose the Prezzo Fisso menu or order a la carte. The Prezzo Fisso menu includes Antipasti, Insalata, Il Secondo, and Dolce with more limited options for each category.

There is a $50 per person up-charge for the Prezzo Fisso menu. Palo also serves brunch (on the two sea days and the Grand Cayman day) for $50.

Palo Brunch | Palo Dinner

Enchanté (Deck 12)

Enchanté offers the most luxurious dining experience on Disney Treasure, also located at the aft of deck 12 on the starboard side. This specialty restaurant features a gourmet menu crafted by Michelin-starred Chef Arnaud Lallement. Chef Lallement also helped to create the menu for the French-inspired Remy restaurant on Disney Dream and Disney Fantasy.

With décor inspired by Lumiere from Beauty and the Beast, this venue is romantic and intimate with candlelight, shimmering light fixtures, a soft blue color palette, and metallic embellishments.

Disney Treasure restaurants

Like Palo, guests can choose a prix-fixe menu that includes multiple courses for $135 or pay a la carte. There’s also additional wine, champagne, or zero-proof drink pairing options. Lunch is available at Enchanté on the two sea days as well.

Additonal Up-Charge Venues on Disney Treasure

Periscope Pub (Deck 5)

The Periscope Pub is a nautically themed pub that celebrates Walt Disney’s 1954 film, “20,000 Leagues Under the Sea” and the Disney Parks attraction that was open at Walt Disney World from 1971 to 1994. The submarine-style decor calls upon 19th century steampunk influence with polished metals and industrial touches.

With a selection of custom craft brews available exclusively aboard Disney Treasure, along with a few cocktails, this is a great casual spot to relax with friends. Guests can watch live sports events and even grab some irresistible bar bites like potato puffs, chicken wings, and German pretzels at a la carte prices. Prices range from $8 up to $16 for items like fish & chips or a burger.

Periscope Pub Menu

Jumbeaux Sweets (Deck 11)

For all those with a sweet tooth, you will definitely want to check out Jumbeaux Sweets on Disney Treasure. The venue is reminiscent of the popular ice cream parlor, Jumbeaux Café, from Disney’s “Zootopia”.

Surrounded by playful pink interiors, Victorian-style architecture, and a sculpture of Officer Judy Hopps and Nick Wilde, guests can indulge in more than 20 flavors of handmade gelato, 16 flavors of ice cream and sorbets, and other specialty treats like the Paw Shortbread Sandwich, an elevated take on Nick Wilde’s pawpcicle.

We’ve just returned from a sailing on MSC Cruises’ new World Class of ships and are back to share all the dining details with you in our complete guide to the MSC World Europa restaurants with menus. Check out all the complimentary and specialty dining options available on the ship, so you can plan where you want to eat during your cruise.

Complimentary MSC World Europa Restaurants

When it comes to complimentary dining, MSC Cruises typically has only a few options that are included in your cruise fare. These include the main dining rooms and the buffet. Until now, there were no alternative casual and complimentary dining spots available. But the World Class has changed this! MSC World Europa now boasts Pizza & Burger nearby Luna Park for additional quick service options, as well as a poolside grill serving similar items.

MSC World Europa restaurants

Of course, guests staying in MSC Yacht Club also have their own private restaurant.

Main Dining Rooms

  • La Foglia Restaurant (Deck 5): 5:30 PM, 7:30 PM, 9:30 PM
  • Esagono Restaurant (Deck 6): 6:30 PM, 9 PM
  • Hexagon Restaurant (Deck 6): 6:30 PM, 9 PM
  • Bubbles Restaurant (Deck 6): 6 PM, 8:30 PM, 6 to 10 PM for My Choice guests
  • Les Dunes Restaurant (Deck 8): 6:30 to 10 PM for My Choice suite guests

MSC World Europa has five main dining rooms spread across Decks 5, 6, and 8. The restaurants include La Foglia Restaurant, Esagono Restaurant, Hexagon Restaurant, Bubbles Restaurant, and Les Dunes Restaurant. The Les Dunes Restaurant is reserved exclusively for those who are staying in MSC’s Aurea suites. Those who booked into the Aurea Experience have a reserved section in Bubbles.

These Aurea guests get My Choice Dining. This means they can choose a different dining time each night of their cruise. Guests booked in the Bella and Fantastica Experiences will be assigned a dining time and dining room, with Fantastica guests getting priority for requested dining times.

Regardless of whether you have Assigned Dining or My Choice Dining, all five main dining rooms offer the same rotational menu for dinner. These menus do change nightly with a list of “always available” selections. Each night, the menu includes a rotational selection of starters, entrees, and desserts.

The Hexagon Restaurant is also open for breakfast daily from around 7:30 to 9 AM and lunch from 12 to 1:30 PM. On the one sea day, this venue served a brunch instead from 9 AM to 1 PM.

Menus:

Breakfast | Sea Day Brunch | Lunch 1 | Lunch 2 | Lunch 3 | Lunch 4 | Lunch 5 | Lunch 6 | Dinner 1 | Dinner 2 | Dinner 3 | Dinner 4 | Dinner 5 | Dinner 6 | Dinner 7

Pizza & Burger (Deck 6)

New to MSC Cruises is a quick service station serving pizza, burgers, hot dogs, chicken wings, and more. Pizza & Burger is open from 11:30 AM/12 PM to 2 AM serving grab-and-go snack options. The venue features plenty of seating and retro arcade games as well.

We think this is a great new addition to the MSC World Europa restaurants lineup!

MSC World Europa restaurants

Coffee Emporium (Deck 8)

Another great addition is the Coffee Emporium located on the World Promenade. In fact, this may have been our favorite spot on the ship.

While MSC boasts all bars on its ships serve espresso, we’ve found that the bartenders struggle to make specialty coffee drinks. Custom lattes, macchiatos, and the like are certainly not their forte.

But now, the Coffee Emporium solves all this. And, most of the drinks are even included in the MSC drink packages. While you’re grabbing your iced caramel latte, cold brew, or other caffeine fix, you’ll also have some food options available for an upcharge. Similar to a Starbucks on land, the Coffee Emporium serves breakfast pastries, sandwiches, and other small treats throughout the day.

The Coffee Emporium is generally open from 7 AM to 11 PM, so you can grab some espresso martinis in the evenings too.

Coffee Emporium Menu

Il Mercato Buffet (Deck 18) and La Brasserie Buffet (Deck 19)

Given that the World Class is quite a bit larger and carries considerably more passengers than the previous Seaside Class vessels, MSC World Europa has two buffets. Il Mercato and La Brasserie are the two buffets, which are basically stacked on top of each other.

Il Mercato is open daily for breakfast (7 to 11 AM), lunch (12:30 to 4:30 PM), and dinner (6:30 to 10 PM).

La Brasserie is open for breakfast (6:30 to 10 AM) and lunch (12 to 3 PM) only as it becomes a supplemental restaurant for Yacht Club guests in the evenings.

While most of the time you can choose to dine at either, occasionally the staff did direct guests to one or the other based on capacity. Don’t worry though, as the majority of the selections are the same.

At breakfast, guests will find a custom egg and omelet station. Additional menu items include options like scrambled eggs, breakfast meats, pancakes and waffles, and breakfast pastries. Cereal, fruit, and other continental items are available as well.

Lunch and dinner features a number of different stands with various food offerings. These include a pizza station, a pasta station, a salad bar, select international hot entrees, charcuterie with meats and cheeses, and hamburgers and hot dogs.

MSC World Europa Specialty Restaurants

While you don’t have to spend money on food while cruising on MSC World Europa, there are quite a few upcharge restaurants that might be worth the splurge. If you choose to dine at the available specialty restaurants, you can either pay a la carte, pay a set fee for the limited Dining Experience menu, or purchase a specialty dining package.

If you are considering dining at a few of these venues, you might want to purchase a dining package.

Dining Package prices for our sailing were:

  • 2 Dining Experiences (Kaito Sushi and Teppanyaki)- 62 euro
  • 3 Dining Experiences (Chef’s Garden Kitchen, Butcher’s Cut, Kaito Sushi)- 125 euro
  • 4 Dining Experiences (Chef’s Garden Kitchen, Kaito Teppanyaki, Butcher’s Cut, Hola! Tacos) – 150 euro
MSC World Europa restaurants

It is important to note that the specialty dining packages on MSC Cruises are slightly different than you find on most other cruise lines. Each package includes specific specialty restaurants. Thus, you are not able to customize your restaurant picks. Further, if you are on a dining package, you must order items off the limited Dining Experience menu and can purchase additional items off the full menu at a la carte prices or swap out items for 50% off.

If you plan to dine at any of these MSC World Europa restaurants, you should make reservations as soon as possible, as popular restaurants and dining times do fill up quickly.

Jean Philippe Chocolat & Cafe (Deck 6)

Jean Philippe Chocolat & Cafe is a chocolate lover’s paradise. This venue serves a variety of treats that are available for an upchage. There’s chocolates, gelato, sundaes, crepes, and more that are crafted on board in an open-air kitchen. This venue also serves espresso-based beverages and specialty hot chocolate drinks.

Jean Philippe Chocolat & Cafe is generally open every day from 7:30 AM to midnight. Unfortunately though, none of the food or drinks are included in any dining or drink packages.

Jean Philippe Chocolat & Cafe Menu

Hola Tacos and Cantina (Deck 7)

Hola! Tacos and Cantina serves up Mexican-style street food in a vibrant open setting restaurant, with a nearby bar also serving up some tasty margaritas.

At Hola!, guests can choose an all-you-can-eat option for a set fee of 22.99 euro per person or pay a la carte for each menu item. The menu features a variety of Mexican favorites like guacamole, tacos, enchiladas, burritos, nachos, quesadillas, and more.

This is a great option for a casual lunch or dinner on MSC World Europa. Hola Tacos is open daily from 12 to 10 PM.

Hola Tacos and Cantina Menu

Butcher’s Cut (Deck 7)

The Butcher’s Cut is the signature steakhouse on MSC Cruises ships. This upscale restaurant is one of the best at sea in our opinion, featuring premium cuts of beef alongside various starters, sides, and desserts. It’s the perfect spot to enjoy an elegant night out.

The venue is smaller than it is on Seaside Class ships, but it still features an open kitchen and ample dining room seating.

The Butcher’s Cut is open nightly for dinner from 6:30 to 10:30 PM and for brunch from 12 to 2 PM.

Butcher’s Cut Brunch Menu | Butcher’s Cut Dinner Menu

Kaito Teppanyaki (Deck 7)

Like many cruise lines, MSC ships feature a Japanese hibachi-style restaurant. Kaito Teppanyaki is open nightly for dinner from 6:30 to 10:30 PM with set seatings and for lunch from 12 to 1:30 PM.

This teppanyaki restaurant’s menu features set tasting combinations at varying prices. Each begins with a sushi and sashimi plate, miso soup, teppan salad, and fried rice. There is then a fish portion and a meat portion which varies based on which experience you select. The meal then concludes with a pineapple and ginger ice cream dessert. There is an additional vegetarian and kids menu available.

Once you make your selections, it’s time to sit back and enjoy this interactive dinner show. Watch your chef cook up the meal right in front of you with a little singing and fun along the way.

Kaito Teppanyaki Menu

Kaito Sushi Bar (Deck 7)

Adjacent to Kaito Teppanyaki is Kaito Sushi Bar. Kaito Sushi is open 6:30 to 10:30 PM nightly for dinner and 12 to 2 PM for lunch.

At Kaito Sushi, cruisers can pull up a seat at the bar top to order up various sushi and sashimi options. There are also additional items on the menu like tempura, teriyaki, soup, noodles, and desserts. So, even if you don’t like sushi, you can probably find something on the menu to enjoy. I sampled the soba noodles and chicken teriyaki, while Don enjoyed some namesake selections.

Kaito Sushi Bar Menu

Chef’s Garden Kitchen (Deck 8)

Chef’s Garden Kitchen is a new specialty dining concept for MSC Cruises which debuted on World Europa. However, it will not be featured on World America. Instead, World America will feature the only Eataly Italian restaurant at sea.

At Chef’s Garden Kitchen, the menu infuses fresh ingredients grown in the ship’s first-at-sea hydroponic garden. The dishes are more unique than your typical specialty restaurant selections with an emphasis on seafood along with a few beef options like Wagyu sirloin and short rib.

MSC World Europa restaurants

If you’re looking for a unique dining experience, this is for you. With ocean views, an open kitchen, and a creative menu, it’s perfect to celebrate a special occasion.

Chef’s Garden Kitchen is open nightly for dinner from 6:30 to 10:30 PM.

Chef’s Garden Kitchen Menu

La Pescaderia (Deck 8)

Also new on MSC Cruises is La Pescaderia. This new seafood restaurant is complete with a fresh fish market and a takeout window. Of note, World America will not feature this venue. Instead, the ship will debut the Greek Paxos restaurant.

La Pescaderia is a Mediterranean-inspired venue located on the World Promenade of World Europa. It features both indoor and outdoor seating. Guests can select their fish which complements the other hot and cold mezes on the menu.

La Pescaderia is open nightly for dinner from 6:30 to 10 PM and for lunch from 12 to 2 PM.

The grab-and-go window is open from 12 to 10 PM daily and features items like frito misto for 6 euro or fish & chips for 8 euro.

La Pescaderia Menu

Sweet Temptations (Deck 8)

Also located on the outdoor World Promenade, Sweet Temptations is a gourmet ice cream shop. This venue serves gelato, make-your-own ice cream bars, waffles, crepes, and other sweet treats at a la carte prices.

None of the selections here are included in any dining or drink packages similar to Jean Philippe Chocolat & Cafe.

Sweet Temptations is open daily from 12 to 10:30 PM.

Sweet Temptations Menu

Room Service

Room Service delivery is included with Fantastica and Aurea experiences on breakfast and 24 hour room service orders. Bella Experience guests will be charged 4 euro for delivery. However, you do still need to pay for the menu items ordered regardless of your experience level. Room service is included for Yacht Club guests however.

Continental breakfast items are complimentary, but other items like sandwiches and salads will cost around 5 euro. A pizza menu is also available with prices from 6 to 10 euro. Of note, pizza delivery was only available from 8 PM to 1:30 AM on our European sailing. This is different than our sailing on MSC Seashore in the Caribbean where it was available all day.

Disney Cruise Line’s third ship, and first of its class, the Disney Dream, is currently sailing Bahamian itineraries out of Fort Lauderdale. We recently returned from a 4-night sailing on this ship and have put together this Disney Dream Restaurants Guide so you can explore what is available onboard!

Complimentary Disney Dream Restaurants

Several dining options are included in your cruise fare onboard Disney Dream. This includes the three main dining rooms, Cabana’s buffet, and a few other casual dining options. With many options available, there is no need to pay any extra for dining onboard if you don’t want to!

Disney’s Rotational Dining Concept

One of the unique features of all five Disney Cruise Line ships is the exclusive rotational dining concept, which adds an element of variety to your dining experience. When booking their stateroom, guests are assigned a dining time of either early seating (5:45 pm) or late seating (8:15 pm). If your preferred time was not available at the time of booking, there is a waitlist available, as well as a dining help desk on cruise embarkation day that may be able to assist in changing the time.

Disney Dream

When it comes time for dinner, guests will rotate each night between the three complimentary main dining venues on Disney Dream. On sailings longer than 3 nights, guests will repeat restaurants. Don’t worry about the repetition, though; the menu and entertainment will be different the second time around.

Not only do the guests rotate between venues, so do the waitstaff and table number. This ensures that the waitstaff really gets to know their guests and preferences during the voyage. Once onboard the ship, guests can check their Disney Cruise Line Navigator app to find their dining rotation, time, and table number.

Animator’s Palate (Deck 3)

Animator’s Palate is one of three complimentary main dining rooms on Disney Dream. This venue showcases storytelling, with decor of paint brushes, character sketches, and models of your most beloved Disney characters, immersing guests into an animation studio.

Undersea Magic is the entertainment provided during your dinner. Finding Nemo characters comes to life on screens via digital animation and puppetry. You may even have a chance to talk to everyone’s favorite dude, Crush!

Disney Dream restaurants

Unfortunately, on our sailing, we had the secondary menu, so we didn’t get to indulge in the famous black truffle pasta purseittes, but we did enjoy the tuna sashimi and the beef wellington.

Animator’s Palate Dinner Menu

Royal Palace (Deck 3)

The second of three main dining rooms onboard Disney Dream is Royal Palace. With its doors right off the main atrium, guests dine like royalty surrounded by nods to classic Disney princess films such as Beauty and the Beast. Gold hues, giant chandeliers, and murals of your favorite princesses make guests feel like they are in the middle of the story.

This French-inspired menu is the most upscale of the three and, personally, my favorite menu onboard! We dined here on our second night, enjoying the escargot, rack of lamb, French onion soup, and creme brulee.

Unlike Animator’s Palate, no entertainment is provided at this venue.

Royal Palace is open for breakfast and lunch daily for guests who prefer a sit-down dining experience versus the buffet. Breakfast options include standard fares such as omelets, waffles, and eggs. Lunch service in Royal Palace works like dinner service, including three courses of options as well as beverages. However, breakfast and lunch do not have table or staff assignments; instead, they work on a first-come, first-served basis.

Enchanted Garden (Deck 2)

Finally, we’ve reached the last complimentary main dining room onboard Disney Dream – Enchanted Garden. Inspired by the Gardens of Versailles, color-changing glass ceiling lights make guests feel as though they are in an outdoor garden, with a large fountain at the center of the venue (with a little Mickey Mouse, of course).

This menu features lighter fare. We dined here on the first night of our cruise, and we enjoyed the ahi tuna, sea scallops, and sea bass.

We later returned to this restaurant for the cruise line’s signature Pirate Night, which features a unique menu with Caribbean-inspired selections.

Enchanted Garden Dinner Menu | Pirate Night Menu

Flo’s Cafe (Deck 11)

Inspired by Pixar’s Cars, Flo’s Cafe is a food hall-style eatery on the pool deck open for lunch and dinner. Ramone’s Cantina, newly added during Disney Dream’s October 2024 dry dock, join the three previous food stalls. These four stalls within Flo’s Cafe cater to everyone’s needs. All stalls are open during lunch hours, while at least one rotating stall stays open later as a dinner option.

  • Luigi’s Pizza – serving classic cheese, pepperoni, and a rotating selection of other pizzas
  • Tow Mater’s Grill – serving chicken tenders, hot dogs, burgers, and fries
  • NEW Ramone’s Cantina – serving build-your-own tacos and bowls
  • Filmore’s Favorites – serving specialty sandwiches, salads, and wraps

NEW: Ramone’s Cantina allows guests to fill tacos and bowls with seasoned beef, chicken, rice, beans, or fajita vegetables. Toppings include guacamole, salsa, sour cream, queso fresco, and Mexican cheese blend. This is very similar to Donald’s Cantina found on Disney Wish.

Luigi’s Pizza | Tow Mater’s Grill | Filmore’s Favorites

Eye Scream (Deck 11)

Everyone’s favorite one-eyed monster, Mike Wazowski from Disney’s Monsters, Inc., is serving up all-you-can-enjoy soft-serve ice cream! Eye Scream always offers vanilla and chocolate, with additional rotating flavors such as strawberry or banana.

Cabanas (Deck 11)

Cabanas is the buffet onboard Disney Dream. The boardwalk decor brings guests to the beach, with surfboards lining the buffet area—they even have five sandcastles representing the five Disney theme park castles! A 30-foot Finding Nemo-inspired tile mosaic lines the buffet entrance from the elevator.

Unlike other cruise line buffets, Cabanas is open for breakfast and lunch but is closed for dinner.

Guests can enjoy standard American breakfast options such as hashbrowns, scrambled eggs, bacon and sausage, waffles, yogurts, and fruits. For lunch, any seafood lover should make their way to the unlimited peel-and-eat shrimp and crab legs, while others can find lunch offerings of salads, burgers, mac and cheese, chicken, and a rotating international cuisine section.

Disney Dream restaurants

Room Service

One standout feature of Disney Cruise Line is its complimentary room service, which is included in the cruise fare and offered 24 hours a day.

Guests can request coffee, pastries, cereal, and fruits by door hanger for breakfast. The all-day menu includes items such as chicken wings, pizzas, and burgers. Be sure to ask about the off-menu Mickey Ice Cream Bars! Additionally, room service also has Smucker’s Uncrustables off-menu. This has come in handy a few times for our sometimes-picky son.

Specialty Restaurants on Disney Dream

While Disney Cruise Line does not offer as many specialty restaurants as other cruise lines, there are some dining venues onboard Disney Dream that you should consider if you are looking for an elevated dining experience.

These venues have an additional charge associated with them, and two require advanced reservations through the Disney Cruise website in advance. For cruisers unable to make reservations before departure, there is a dining desk on embarkation day to check for availability.

Disney Dream restaurants

Palo (Deck 12)

Palo is one of two adults-only dining venues on Disney Dream. Guests must be 18 years of age or older, and this venue requires advanced reservations. Palo is available for brunch on select days and dinner nightly. Brunch is a set price of $50 per person with an all-you-can-eat menu, while dinner offers cruisers a 4-course prix-fixe menu for $50 per person or an a la carte menu. Additionally, Palo does have a dress code.

Gold, deep reds, and dark wood set the tone for the decor. Large paintings and wine displays cover the walls, and be sure to get the story on the chandelier in the check-in area.

Palo’s menu is inspired by Northern Italian cuisine. Brunch features items such as wood-fired pizzas, elegant egg dishes, and the famous parmesan-crusted chicken breast with risotto. Dinner takes elegance a step further with offerings such as house-made butternut squash agnolotti, calamari, Dover sole, and seared scallops. Be sure to order the chocolate souffle at the beginning of your meal, as it does take a while to cook.

Palo Brunch Menu | Palo Dinner Menu

Remy (Deck 12)

The most luxurious dining experience onboard Disney Dream is Remy. This French-inspired menu was crafted by Scott Hummel, an award-winning chef from Disney World’s Victoria and Albert’s, assisted by 3-star Michelin chef Chef Arnaud.

Remy offers dinner nightly and brunch on longer sailings. Dinner costs $135 per person, and there are two menu experiences to choose from. Each meal begins with a complimentary champagne. Additional wine pairing enhancements are also available. Remy’s menu offerings are a bit more adventurous, including options such as toothfish, langoustines, and wagyu beef.

A 5-course dessert experience is also offered at Remy on select days, costing $65 per person.

Semi-formal to formal dress is required at Remy.

Remy Menu | Remy Dessert Experience Menu

Pub 687 (Deck 4)

Pub 687 is located within the District, being the perfect place to catch a sports game. Cherry wood decor gives English pub vibes, with high-top tables, bar stools, and couches for lounging.

Pub 687 is a popular spot for trivia and crafts and transforms into an adults-only venue after 9 p.m. For an upcharge, a small selection of bar food options, including chicken wings, chips and dips, pretzels, and sliders, is available.

Pub 687 Menu

Vanellope’s Sweets (Deck 11)

For cruisers with a sweet tooth craving that Eye Scream can’t satisfy, look no further than the upcharge venue of Vanellope’s Sweets. Step into the game of Sugar Rush from Disney’s Wreck-It Ralph, where you’ll find specialty gelatos, cookies, cupcakes, and more. Souvenir options and options to create your own sundaes are available as well.

Frozone’s Treats (Deck 11)

Located next to Eye Scream is Frozone’s Treats. Here, one of our favorite superheroes from The Incredibles serves smoothies and the famous Dole Whip dessert for an additional cost.

Atlas Ocean Voyages’ ships offer an array of onboard dining options. No matter where your cruise is headed, the included dining options provide some of the best meals at sea. We should know, as we have sailed with the cruise line twice. So, to help ensure your Atlas Ocean Voyages expedition is smooth sailing, we have compiled this comprehensive Atlas Ocean Voyages restaurant guide.

Not only does this guide include all of the Atlas Ocean Voyages restaurant menus, but we also have the bar and lounge menus. One benefit of sailing with this luxe-adventure brand is that all food, a wide array of spirits, and premium nonalcoholic beverages are also part of the cruise fare.

Bon appetit!

Paula’s Pantry

Located on Deck 4 midship is Paula’s Pantry. This onboard café is typically open from about 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM. For coffee lovers, this is your onboard stop for espresso-based drinks and premium teas. The venue also serves freshly made juices and smoothies.

For those wanting a bite to eat, the venue offers a selection of quick grab-and-go light bites. There are breakfast pastries in the morning, like croissants, donuts, and danishes. There are also continental items like yogurt parfaits and fruit. But our clear favorite was the ham and cheese toasty. These warm and gooey handheld breakfast sandwiches were a perfect start to a cold and snowy day in Antarctica! Of course, they tasted just as yummy in the Mediterranean.

In the afternoons, the Paula’s Pantry menu offers some sandwiches and snacks. These items rotate throughout the cruise. Along with finger sandwiches, cruisers can find personal-sized pizzas and mini wraps. Some freshly baked cookies and muffins were also a nice treat after a day of exploring ashore.

Paula’s Pantry Coffee Menu

Breakfast

The main dining room on your Atlas Ocean Voyages ship offers a breakfast buffet each morning. Usually, breakfast is served from around 7:30 AM or 8:00 AM and remains open for two hours.

The buffet includes a scrambled egg special of the day and a wide array of side dishes, including breakfast meats, grilled vegetables, and breakfast potatoes. There are also cereals, fresh fruit, breakfast pastries, and a full European continental breakfast.

In addition, expeditioners can order from a custom breakfast menu. This menu includes made-to-order omelets, eggs benedict, American pancakes, and French toast.

Atlas Ocean Voyages Breakfast Buffet Menu | Atlas Ocean Voyages Breakfast Entree Menu

Lunch

Likewise, the ship’s main dining room serves a lunch buffet. Typically, lunch is served from around 12 pm to 1:30 pm. The lunch buffet had a salad bar, hot entrees, and daily desserts.  There is also a custom Caesar salad bar and a wide selection of baked breads.

Selections typically include a carving station, a pasta dish, and a few international main courses. Some of these options included a suckling pig, herbed chicken breast, vegetable lasagna, braised lamb, or teriyaki chicken.

Sides like white rice or mashed potatoes often accompanied the main courses.

During our Antarctica cruise, the lunch buffet also featured a custom wok station cooking up a daily special. This ranged from sauteed mussels to shrimp pad tai. However, this was not the case in the Mediterranean.

For dessert, there were several ice cream selections and sweet treats like crème brulee, apple tart tatin, or vanilla eclairs.

Example of Lunch Buffet Menus in Antarctica | Example of the Lunch Buffet Menus in Mediterranean

Afternoon Tea

Every afternoon at 4 pm, tea is served in one of the lounges. When in Antarctica, various teas from around the world complemented small sandwiches and canapes that mainly remained the same. We couldn’t help but sample the macrons and tea cakes while enjoying our “Be Cool” and Darjeeling N037 after a few cold afternoons exploring the white continent.

However, on our Mediterranean cruise, the tea service was different. Guests could help themselves to a similar selection of teas and then order sweet treats from a small menu of desserts.

Dinner in the Atlas Ocean Voyages Main Dining Room

Dinner on an Atlas Ocean Voyages expedition typically runs for two hours. Depending on the itinerary, dinner started at either 7 or 7:30 PM with the last seating a half-hour before the restaurant closes. The restaurant is open seating.

During our cruise, we dined at a table for two on some occasions. On other nights, we joined a larger table and dined with some newly made friends. From our observations, this was true for most cruisers, with tablemates and sizes changing each night. Though, it is nice that guests have the option to dine alone if they choose.

Atlas Ocean Voyages restaurants

Regarding the Atlas Ocean Voyages restaurant menus, dinner functions like a traditional cruise. The yacht’s main dining room offers a rotational menu each night with different starters, entrees, and desserts.

Further, like many cruise lines, there is also an “Always Available” section. This section of the menu remained the same for the entire cruise. This menu included a Caesar salad, tomato soup, and three entrees during our expedition. There were also several traditional side dishes, like truffle French fries, mac and cheese, and sauteed vegetables.

The cruise line also features a plant-based menu with several starters, a main course, and a different dessert each night of the cruise.

There are also regional specialties depending on the itinerary. On our Epicurean Expedition in the Mediterranean, we were treated to dishes like seared Swordfish from a local market in Sicily. There were also freshly made pasta dishes from Master Chef Marcello Zaccaria. Among the irresistible, al dente selections were the Pasta Alla Norma and the Trofie Alla Pesto Genovese.

While there are fewer selections than on mainstream cruise lines, the options were more upscale. Besides the aforementioned options, some of my favorites included the succulent Black Angus Chateaubriand, the Rack of Lamb, the Mongolian Beef, and Hunan Shrimps.

Example of Atlas Antarctica Dinner Menus | Example of Atlas Mediterranean Dinner Menus

Atlas Ocean Voyages 7 Aft Grill

In warmer climates, there’s the 7 Aft Grill on the pool deck of Atlas Ocean Voyages’ ships. For lunch, this al fresco dining spot features pizzas, burgers, and other handhelds freshly made straight off the grill.

Aside from the made-to-order selections off the menu, many of the same items found on that day’s lunch buffet in the main dining room are also found at this venue’s small outdoor buffet. These selections include a salad bar, continental items, fresh fruit, and small desserts.

The venue then becomes the cruise ship’s signature steakhouse in the evenings. During our Mediterranean cruise, the restaurant was open from 7:30 PM to 9:00 PM. With premium cuts of beef, upgraded side dishes, and decadent desserts, it is perfect for an elegant evening out. Among the standout items during our visit were the chef’s cobb salad and the homemade Louisiana crawfish ravioli, as well the ribeye steak.

The venue is complimentary, but reservations are required for dinner. During the cruise, guests can make reservations at Guest Services.

7 Aft Lunch Menu | 7 Aft Dinner Menu

Atlas Ocean Voyages Room Service

The included room service is one thing we love about the Atlas Ocean Voyages dining. Room service is available 24 hours a day. Along with food delivery, cruisers can also order beverages from the bar free of charge. This is in addition to the fully stocked mini bar replenished daily in your stateroom.

When it comes to options, there is a pretty standard breakfast menu offering custom breakfast options that you can enjoy “whenever you wake up”.

My go-to in the morning was the Classic Atlas breakfast, with pastries, a cold cuts and cheese plate, fruit, and egg selection. There were also sides like bagels, hash browns, bacon, and other breakfast accompaniments.

For the remainder of the day, guests can order from a small menu of lunch-type items. Atlas Ocean Voyages did update the room service menu between our two sailings that were six months apart. The menu now includes a chicken Caesar wrap, a new flatbread, and an impressive 6oz WAGYU beef burger, served with perfectly seasoned fries.

The Explorer’s Table

The Explorer’s Table is a new dining experience coming to Atlas Ocean Voyages. This wasn’t available during our sailings with the expedition line, but it will be offered on polar voyages in The Dome. The Explorer’s Table will present global culinary highlights from Spain, Korea, France, Argentina, and North America. This specialty dinner experience will be available only once each sailng for 10 guests and comes with a price of $179.

Atlas Ocean Voyages Bars and Lounges

All Atlas Ocean Voyages ships have three bars. The Deck 7 pool bar is open in warmer climates. When the weather permits, the bar remains open from 11:00 AM to 9:00 PM.

The forward-facing Dome offers excellent views of the bow forward on Deck 7. It was also home to the late-night scene on our cruise.

Finally, there is the Atlas Lounge on Deck 4. This is a popular pre-dinner drink spot with live music. It was also home to a few live music events after dinner and the crew talent show. These were the closest things to “entertainment” in the evenings.

All of the bars feature a variety of included cocktails, with a few specialties distinct to each venue.

Atlas Ocean Voyages Bar Menus

While a wide range of spirits are included in the bar menu, some select beverages are an upcharge. This is also true when it comes to the included wine at dinner. The cruise line features several white, red, and rose wines, but cruisers can pay a la carte for other non-included wines to enhance their meals further.

Any cocktail we could think of was included in the cruise fare. So, most cruisers should have no issues with the included beverages. For those with particular tastes, many of the upcharge liquors were between $7 and $12.

We’ve just returned from a sailing with MSC Cruises and are back to share all the dining details with you in our complete guide to the MSC Seashore restaurants with menus. Check out all the complimentary and specialty dining options available on the ship, so you can plan where you want to eat during your cruise.

Complimentary MSC Seashore Restaurants

When it comes to complimentary dining, MSC Seashore has only a few options that are included in your cruise fare. These include the main dining rooms and the Marketplace Buffet. Unlike many competitor cruise lines, there are no alternative casual and complimentary dining spots available on this ship. This means no pizza parlor, no poolside burger joint or Mexican fare, and no café.

  • Central Park Restaurant (Deck 5)
  • Tribeca Restaurant (Deck 6)
  • 5th Avenue Restaurant (Deck 7)*
  • Manhattan Restaurant (Deck 7)
  • Marketplace Buffet (Deck 16)
MSC Seashore Restaurants

Main Dining Rooms (Decks 5, 6, 7)

When it comes to the main dining room on MSC Seashore, there are four different venues (Central Park, Tribeca, 5th Avenue, and Manhattan) and several different dining times. Guests booked in the Bella and Fantastica Experiences will be assigned a dining time and dining room, with Fantastica getting priority for requested dining times.

Aurea Experience guests get My Choice Dining in a separate dining room. My Choice Dining allows you to choose a different dining time each night of your cruise. Aurea guests can dine in the 5th Avenue Restaurant between 5:30 and 9 PM.

The three remaining restaurants: Central Park, Tribeca, and Manhattan are reserved for Assigned Dining guests. These restaurants offer Early Seating and Late Seating with times as follows:

Early Seating: Central Park 5:15 PM, Tribeca 5:30 PM, Manhattan 6 PM

Late Seating: Central Park 7:15 PM, Tribeca 7:30 PM, Manhattan 8 PM, Central Park 9:15 PM

MSC Seashore restaurants

The Central Park Restaurant is also open for breakfast daily from around 7:30 to 9 AM, lunch on select days including embarkation day, and brunch on sea days from around 8:30 AM to 1:30 PM.

Regardless of whether you have Assigned Dining or My Choice Dining, all four restaurants offer the same rotational menu for dinner. These menus do change nightly with a list of classics that stay the same throughout the cruise. Each night, the menu includes a rotational selection of starters, entrees, and desserts.

Second entrees will cost an additional $5 per dish.

Breakfast | Lunch Day 1 | Sea Day Brunch | Dinner 1 | Dinner 2 | Dinner 3 | Dinner 4 | Dinner 5 | Dinner 6 | Dinner 7 | Kids Menus

Marketplace Buffet & Restaurant (Deck 16)

The Marketplace Buffet & Restaurant is the only casual, complimentary dining option available on MSC Seashore.

This venue is open for breakfast from around 6:30 to 11 AM daily.

At breakfast, the Marketplace Buffet features your typical offerings. There is a custom egg and omelet station all the way aft in the venue. Additional menu items include options like scrambled eggs, breakfast meats, pancakes and waffles, and breakfast pastries. Cereal, fruit, and other continental items are available as well.

Lunch is served from around 12 to 4 PM. Dinner is available 6 to 9 PM with late night snacks from 10 to 1 AM.

Lunch and dinner features a number of different stands with various food offerings. These include a pizza station, a pasta station, a salad bar, international hot entrees, charcuterie with meats and cheeses, and hamburgers and hot dogs.

These selections are scattered across two separate dining areas with the midship elevators separating the venue into two restaurants.

MSC Yacht Club Restaurant (Deck 18)

The Yacht Club is MSC Cruises’ “ship within a ship” concept. Not only does the MSC Yacht Club feature the most luxurious accommodations on the ship, it includes an exclusive sundeck, restaurant, lounge, and bar. These facilities require keycard access and are limited to only those staying within the Yacht Club.

The MSC Yacht Club Restaurant is located on Deck 18 of MSC Seashore. This venue serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner featuring a menu with more upscale selections than the main dining rooms. The lunch and dinner menus do change daily. Breakfast is available 7/7:30 to 9/9:30 AM daily, lunch on most days from 12 to 1:30 PM, and dinner from 5:30 to 9 PM nightly.

Additionally, there’s the One Pool Buffet and Grill on the Deck 20 sundeck that serves buffet style selections for those lounging poolside. Breakfast items are available 7/7:30 to 10/10:30 AM, lunch items 12 to 3 PM, and afternoon snacks 3:30 to 4:30 PM. Once again, these items are more upscale including seafood selections, steak, a carving station, custom-made burgers, and more.

Specialty MSC Seashore Restaurants

While you don’t have to spend money on food while cruising on MSC Seashore, there are quite a few up-charge restaurants that might be worth the splurge. If you choose to dine at the available specialty restaurants, you can either pay a la carte, pay a set fee for the limited Dining Experience menu, or purchase a specialty dining package.

MSC Seashore Restaurants

If you are considering dining at a few of these venues, you might want to purchase a dining package. Dining Package prices for our sailing were:

  • 4 Specialty Dining Experience $155
  • 3 Specialty Dining Experience $110
  • 2 Specialty Dining Experience $95
  • Butcher’s Cut Chef’s Table $99
  • Dinner and Bubbles $135

It is important to note that the specialty dining packages on MSC Cruises are slightly different than you find on most other cruise lines. Each package includes specific specialty restaurants. Thus, you are not able to customize your restaurant picks. Further, if you are on a dining package, you must order items off the limited Dining Experience menu and can purchase additional items off the full menu at a la carte prices.

If you plan to dine at any of these MSC Seashore restaurants, you should make reservations as soon as possible, as popular restaurants and dining times do fill up quickly. You can make reservations either pre-cruise or once onboard the ship at the desk located near the specialty restaurants on Deck 8.

During our sailing, we decided to dine at Butcher’s Cut, Kaito Teppanyaki, and Hola! Tacos and Cantina. All meals were great, and we think MSC shines when it comes to specialty dining.

MSC Seashore Restaurants

Venchi 1878 Chocolate Bar (Deck 6)

The Venchi 1878 Chocolate Bar is a chocolate lover’s paradise. This venue serves a variety of non-alcoholic and alcoholic beverages made with the brand’s signature chocolate including some delicious espresso-based drinks. The bar also serves a variety of other chocolates and gelato that are crafted on board in an open-air kitchen.

Venchi is generally open every day from 8 AM to 12 AM. Unfortunately though, none of the drinks (or other items) at Venchi are included in any of the MSC drink packages.

Venchi 1878 Menu

Sports Bar (Deck 8)

Adorned with various sports memorabilia, this classic American sports bar offers a variety of beers, a fully stocked bar for other beverages, an oversized television for sports broadcasts, and individual TV booths to watch the action.

MSC Seashore Restaurants

This venue also serves up classic game time food options at a la carte prices. It’s the perfect spot to grab some friends, brews, and chicken wings to watch your favorite team play.

The Sports Bar opens anywhere between 10 AM and 3 PM depending on the ship’s call into port and remains open until 1 AM.

Sports Bar Menu

Hola! Tacos and Cantina (Deck 8)

Hola! Tacos and Cantina serves up Mexican-style street food in a vibrant open setting restaurant, with a nearby bar also serving up some tasty drinks.

At Hola!, guests can choose an all you can eat option for a set fee of $17.99 per person or pay a la carte for each menu item. The menu features a variety of Mexican favorites like guacamole, tacos, enchiladas, burritos, nachos, quesadillas, and more.

This is a great option for a casual lunch or dinner on MSC Seashore. Hola! is open daily from 12 to 10 PM.

Hola! Menu

Butcher’s Cut (Deck 8)

The Butcher’s Cut is the signature steakhouse on MSC Seashore. This upscale restaurant is one of the best at sea in our opinion, featuring premium cuts of beef alongside various starters, sides, and desserts. There’s also a signature cocktail menu and wine list that pairs perfectly with your dinner.

The venue features an open kitchen, a large dining room, and additional al fresco seating on the waterfront.

The Butcher’s Cut is open nightly for dinner from 5:30 PM to 9:30 PM and on select days for brunch from 10 AM to 2 PM.

Butcher’s Cut Brunch Menu | Butcher’s Cut Dinner Menu

Kaito Teppanyaki (Deck 8)

Like many cruise lines, MSC Seashore offers a Japanese hibachi-style restaurant. Kaito Teppanyaki is open nightly for dinner from 5:30 to 9:30 PM with set seatings and on select days for lunch from 12 to 1:30 PM.

This teppanyaki restaurant’s menu features set tasting combinations at varying prices. Each begins with a sushi and sashimi plate, miso soup, teppan salad, and fried rice. There is then a fish portion and a meat portion which varies based on which experience you select. The meal then concludes with a pineapple and matcha ice cream dessert. There is an additional vegetarian and kids menu available.

Once you make your selections, it’s time to sit back and enjoy this interactive dinner show. Watch your chef cook up the meal right in front of you with a little singing and fun along the way.

Kaito Teppanyaki Menu

Kaito Sushi Bar (Deck 8)

Unique to MSC Cruises is the Kaito Sushi Bar complete with its own sushi conveyor belt. This venue is priced completely a la carte and is not part of any of the dining packages.

Kaito Sushi is open 5:30 to 9:30 PM nightly for dinner and 12 to 2 PM on select days for lunch.

MSC Seashore Restaurants

At Kaito Sushi, cruisers can pull up a seat at the bar top and select items from the conveyor belt in front of them. Plates are color-coded based on pricing. There are also additional items on the menu like tempura, teriyaki, soup, noodles, and desserts.

Kaito Sushi Menu

Ocean Cay Restaurant (Deck 8)

Ocean Cay Restaurant is the intimate seafood specialty restaurant on MSC Seashore. There are various hot and cold appetizers, main courses such as lobster tail, and desserts. However, if someone in your travel party does not like seafood, there are very limited non-seafood items available at this venue.

Ocean Cay Restaurant is open nightly for dinner from 5:30 to 9:30 PM and select days for lunch from 12 to 2 PM.

Ocean Cay Restaurant Menu

Venchi 1878 Gelato (Deck 8)

MSC Seashore has several nods to the cruise line’s Italian heritage including signature Venchi gelato. A Venchi 1878 Gelato shop can be found aft on Deck 8 near the Infinity Pool. This counter serves a variety of gelato flavors as well as gelato bars, candies, and more at up-charge prices.

There are also additional spots to grab some gelato around the ship including near the Jungle Pool Beach Bar on Deck 16 and the Long Island Bar on Deck 18. Of course, you can score this sweet treat at the Chocolate Bar on Deck 6 as well.

You might be wondering- Is ice cream free on MSC Cruises? Sadly, the gelato is not included in any of the MSC drink packages or dining packages. But, soft serve ice cream is now free and served in the buffet.

Room Service delivery is included with Fantastica and Aurea experiences on breakfast and 24 hour room service orders. Bella Experience guests will be charged $3.50 for delivery. However, you do still need to pay for the menu items ordered regardless of your Experience level.

Utopia of the Seas is the newest ship in the Royal Caribbean fleet sailing epic weekend cruises from Port Canaveral, Florida. Along with several Oasis class staples, Utopia is also home to some new and reimagined spaces. We’ve just returned from the ship’s inaugural voyage and are back to share all the dining details with you in our complete guide to the Utopia of the Seas restaurants with menus.

Complimentary Utopia of the Seas Restaurants

When it comes to complimentary dining, Utopia has several options that are included in your Royal Caribbean cruise fare. These include the main dining room and the popular Windjammer buffet. There are many other casual spots as well, including favorites like Sorrento’s pizzeria, El Loco Fresh, and Park Café, along with some new spots like the Spare Tire food truck.

Utopia of the Seas cruise review

Further, suite guests have access to the exclusive restaurant, Coastal Kitchen, for breakfast, lunch, and dinner in addition to all the other options listed below.

Main Dining Room (Decks 3, 4, and 5)

The 3-story main dining room on Utopia of the Seas offers the traditional cruise dining experience with an early and late seating along with the more flexible My Time Dining option. Deck 3 is for My Time Dining guests and also has a First Seating at 5 PM.

With My Time Dining, guests can dine whenever they like; however, they will not have the same table or waitstaff each evening. Even if you have My Time Dining, you can pre-reserve your dining times in the app before your cruise and we highly recommend you do so. My Time Dining is available from 6:45 to 9 PM.

Utopia of the Seas restaurants

Deck 4 and Deck 5 of the Main Dining Room offer a First Seating at 5 PM and a Second Seating at 7:30 PM. Here, guests will be assigned to a table for the duration of the cruise and will have the same waitstaff every evening.

Regardless of whether you opt for traditional dining or My Time Dining, the dinner menus are the same. These options do rotate each evening. However, on these shorter cruises, there is no “lobster night”.

The order of the menus may change based on your ports of call, so we suggest you check the Royal Caribbean app for the rotation specific on your sailing. However, in general, the 3-day cruise rotation is Welcome Aboard, Taste of the Caribbean, and Bon Voyage. The 4-day sailing also includes the Taste of France menu.

On Utopia of the Seas, the MDR on Deck 3 is also open for breakfast from 7 to 9 AM. On a short 3-day cruise, there is no lunch in the main dining room.

Breakfast | Welcome Aboard | A Taste of the Caribbean | Bon Voyage | A Taste of France

Sorrento’s Pizza (Deck 5)

Sorrento’s is the Royal Caribbean pizza spot located on Deck 5 in the Royal Promenade on Utopia of the Seas. This quick service venue is open from 11 AM to 2 or 3 AM.

Sorrento’s serves up slices of classic favorites like pepperoni and cheese in addition to daily specialty pizzas. It’s the perfect midnight snack after enjoying all the late night fun during the world’s biggest weekend.

Café Promenade (Deck 5)

Open 24 hours a day, Café Promenade is your go-to spot for snacks and coffee any time of day. Serving up breakfast pastries, sandwiches, cookies, and other small desserts, you will never go hungry.

Located on the Promenade, this Café is a great place to grab a table and people watch as well.

Like most Royal Caribbean ships, specialty coffee is available at Café Promenade, which now proudly brews Starbucks. These espresso-based drinks are included in the Deluxe Beverage Package or the Café Select coffee card.

Dog House (Deck 6)

The Dog House located in the Boardwalk neighborhood on Utopia of the Seas is the perfect stop for a midday snack.

This stand is open most of the afternoon and early evening until 6 PM. It features four varieties of dogs and sausages, along with select toppings and small sides like potato salad.

Park Café (Deck 8)

Located in the Central Park neighborhood on all Oasis Class ships, Park Café offers quick service breakfast and lunch items. The venue is open for breakfast most days from around 6:30 to 10:30 AM and for lunch from around 12 to 5:30 PM and reopens from 6 to 10 PM similar to Icon of the Seas.

For breakfast, you can enjoy hot sandwiches, oatmeal, a bagel bar, fresh fruit cups, and more. In the afternoon, you can enjoy fresh paninis, custom salads, or the famous Royal Kummelweck sandwich.

This venue is the perfect alternative to the busy Windjammer buffet for a lighter breakfast or lunch.

Solarium Bistro (Deck 15)

The Solarium Bistro is another one of the complimentary Utopia of the Seas restaurants. Located adjacent to the adult-only Solarium, this venue serves buffet-style options for breakfast and lunch.

Solarium Bistro is open for breakfast daily from around 6:30 to 10:30 AM and for lunch on select days from around 12 to 3 PM.

Utopia of the Seas restaurants

Additionally, the Solarium Bistro is open for dinner from 5 to 9 PM. The menu consists of a Mediterranean-inspired appetizer buffet along with plated entrées like salmon, chicken, or lamb.

Cruisers can make reservations for dinner at the Solarium Bistro pre-cruise using the online cruise planner or once onboard the ship.

Solarium Bistro Dinner Menu

Sprinkles (Deck 15)

In addition to all the other snacks you can enjoy around the ship, there is also the poolside ice cream station. Sprinkles offers soft serve selections throughout the day from 10 or 11 AM to 9 PM.

The Spare Tire (Deck 15)

Located on the pool deck of Utopia of the Seas, The Spare Tire is a new food truck concept for Royal Caribbean. It features quick service snacks like tornados, chicken sandwiches, and mini cheesecake churros. These items are complimentary from 11 AM to 5:30 PM daily.

Utopia of the Seas cruise review

Honestly though, they felt like microwave selections so we definitely didn’t return to this spot. It’s too bad as we had high hopes for this new concept. We were hoping for a Carnival Street Eats meets Perfect Day at CocoCay Snack Shack.

Spare Tire Menu

Windjammer Marketplace (Deck 15)

If you have cruised on Royal Caribbean before, then you are very familiar with the Windjammer Marketplace. This casual, complimentary buffet is open most of the day serving breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

For breakfast (approximately 6/6:30 AM to 11 AM), you can find your typical selections including fruits, breakfast pastries, cereals, and hot menu items such as scrambled eggs, bacon, and sausage, along with an omelet station.

For lunch (approximately 11:30 AM to 3 PM), you will find a selection of salads, cold cuts and sandwiches, grilled items, and other hot dishes and international cuisine which vary slightly each day of the cruise.

At dinner (approximately 5:30 to 9 PM), you will find similar standard selections as lunch, along with themed nights. On the 3-day sailing, the themed nights were: All American Classics, Flavors Across the Caribbean, and Flavors of India.

El Loco Fresh (Deck 16)

El Loco Fresh is your Mexican eatery on Royal Caribbean ships. This outdoor venue serves up grab-and-go options nearby the sports deck on Utopia of the Seas. Guests can grab tacos, burritos, quesadillas, and nachos with a custom salsa bar. There’s also the adjacent Cantina Fresca to quench your thrist.

El Loco Fresh is open around 11 AM to 6 PM, except on the ship’s visit to Perfect Day at CocoCay when it opens at 2 PM.

Specialty Utopia of the Seas Restaurants

While you don’t have to spend money on food while cruising on Utopia of the Seas, there are quite a few up-charge restaurants that might be worth the splurge. If you are considering dining at a few of these venues, you might want to purchase a dining package.

Royal Caribbean’s pricing is dynamic and changes based on ship, time of year, etc. On our 3-day Utopia of the Seas cruise, the Unlimited Dining package was $194.99 with a 30% pre-cruise discount making it $135.99.

Further, if you plan to dine at any of these Utopia of the Seas restaurants, you should make reservations pre-cruise, as popular dining times do fill up quickly.

Utopia of the Seas restaurants

On the 3-day cruise, all specialty restaurants are open for dinner nightly; however, most will not be open for lunch/brunch. Since there is a sea day on the 4-day itinerary, some of these venues will open for lunch as well as dinner.

During our sailing, we decided to dine at all specialty restaurants. We enjoyed The Mason Jar, Giovanni’s Italian Kitchen, and the new Royal Railway – Utopia Station.

Royal Railway – Utopia Station (Deck 4)

Perhaps the most talked about addition to the Utopia of the Seas restaurants lineup is the Royal Railway. This immersive experience takes the place of Izumi on Wonder of the Seas.

This family-friendly dining adventure combines dinner and a show. With the use of high-tech digital screens and a perfectly themed venue, guests embark on a journey through the American Frontier during this one-of-a-kind meal. It starts with a pre-dinner drink at the station platform. Guests are then summoned to board the dining car for their multi-sensory dinner experience. Just be on the lookout for bandits.

While traveling through the Wild West via digital screens, guests enjoy themed menu items like the Outlaw Bread Cart, Fart & Dart Baked Beans, Braised Short Ribs, Roasted Poussin, and a Royal Railway Cigar dessert. All the while, a story is unfolding around you with live skits in the train car aisle, announcements on the PA from the engineer, and buffalo darting past the “windows”.

The Royal Railway is open for dinner at two set times each evening at 6 and 8:30 PM. The introductory price is $74.99 but will increase to $119 for adults and $24.99 for kids.

While this is a fun, family-friendly experience, we think Royal Caribbean needs to work on the timing a bit. We felt rushed; we didn’t have enough time to enjoy our meal and still take in everything happening around us. Honestly, we barely ate half of any course before it was carted away.

Royal Railway Utopia Station Menu

Sugar Beach (Deck 6)

If the soft serve by the pool deck isn’t enough to satisfy your ice cream craving, you have more options at the Sugar Beach ice cream window on the Boardwalk. However, these selections will cost you extra money.

You can order up your favorite flavor in a cup or cone. Or, you can choose a signature sundae. Sugar Beach also sells a variety of candy to give the kids even more energy.

Sugar Beach Menu

Playmakers Sports Bar & Arcade (Deck 6)

The fan-favorite sports bar on Royal Caribbean ships, Playmakers, has found its way onto Utopia of the Seas as well. The Boardwalk on the Oasis-class ships is the perfect spot for this family-friendly venue.

Playmakers is home to a large collection of televisions broadcasting games from around the world. It also serves up a variety of game time food favorites along with a wide selection of beer. The a la carte menu features items like chicken wings, nachos, an onion ring tower, and the signature Playmakers burger.

The venue serves up snacks varying times each day, opening between 11:30 AM and 3 PM and closing around 11 PM.

Playmakers Sports Bar & Arcade Menu

Johnny Rockets (Deck 6)

Johnny Rockets is another family-friendly, casual dining spot located on the Boardwalk of Utopia of the Seas. This American classic diner serves up fresh burgers and sandwiches with a side of fries and milkshakes.

Lunch and dinner have a flat fee of $14.99. However, the venue’s breakfast is free. Many cruisers are unaware that they can get a freshly made complimentary breakfast here.

Johnny Rockets is open for breakfast from around 7:30 to 9:30 AM. The venue then re-opens for lunch and dinner between 12 and 2 PM until 10 PM.

Izumi (Deck 8)

On Utopia of the Seas, the Asian-inspired Izumi has found a new home. Unlike other Oasis-class ships, Izumi is found in the Central Park neighborhood much like Icon of the Seas. This reimagined Izumi restaurant features a new multicourse omakase experience paired with sake cocktails, more teppanyaki tables, and al fresco dining.

The Hibachi experience has a flat fee for the four-course meal. Current pricing is $64.99 for dinner and $39.99 for lunch. There is a $15 surcharge for guests using a dining package.

At Izumi Sushi, guests can pay a la carte or select the prix-fixe meal option which includes 1 small plate, 2 large plates, and a dessert. The current prix-fixe price is $39.99 for lunch and dinner. The menu does feature more than just sushi to accommodate everyone in your travel party.

Izumi Omakase is a new dining experience on Utopia of the Seas for just six guests each seating. This intimate chef-driven meal is eight courses – think Izumi meets Chef’s Table. The current price is $129.99 with an additional $59.99 surcharge for guests using a dining package.

Izumi is open nightly for dinner from 5 to 9 PM. The Omakase seatings are 6 and 8:30 PM.

Izumi in the Park (Deck 8)

Also debuting on Icon of the Seas and now on Utopia of the Seas is Izumi in the Park. This takeout window offers a selection of sushi rolls and Japanese sweets. The menu’s grab-and-go items are priced a la carte. So, if you’re in the mood for some sushi but don’t want to take the kids to a 2-hour sit-down dinner, this is the perfect compromise.

If you have a dining package, you’ll receive a $10 food credit to use here.

Chops Grille (Deck 8)

Chops Grille is the Royal Caribbean signature steakhouse. If you are looking for a perfectly seared cut of beef, then you will want to head to this venue also located in the Central Park neighborhood on Utopia of the Seas.

As one of the most popular specialty restaurants on Royal Caribbean ships, reservations are required to dine here; and prime dinner times do fill up quickly.

Giovanni’s Italian Kitchen (Deck 12)

Giovanni’s Italian Kitchen is in a new location on Utopia of the Seas. Replacing Wonderland on Wonder of the Seas, this Italian specialty restaurant has moved up from Central Park and offers a new two-story layout overlooking the Boardwalk. In addition, it also extends to a new outside terrace, Gio’s Terrazza.

This rustic venue still serves up all the Italian classics. The menu features made-to-order pizzas prepared in an open kitchen concept, classic pasta dishes, along with mouth-watering entrées and desserts.

Giovanni’s is open daily for dinner from 5 to 9 PM. The venue is also open select days for lunch from 12 to 1:30 PM. The upcharge to dine here is $54.99 for dinner and $24.99 for lunch.

On the top level of the restaurant, there’s also the Wine Bar, which serves a small food menu at a la carte prices.

During the experience, the chef will prepare and explain each course’s cooking style, ingredients, and flavors. This formal affair costs $109.99, or a $49.99 surcharge if using the dining package.

Chef’s Table Menu

Mason Jar (Deck 15)

The Mason Jar, which first debuted on Wonder of the Seas, is a casual venue that serves up all your homestyle favorites in a farmhouse-style setting alongside live country music.

The Mason Jar is open for dinner nightly from 5 to 9 PM. On sea days, the venue also serves brunch from 10 AM to 1 PM. The price to dine here is $49.99 for dinner or $34.99 for brunch.

With menu options like fried chicken, shrimp n’ grits, gumbo, St. Louis-style ribs, and more, how could you not want to try this venue at least once?

There’s also a late night menu with a la carte prices (9 PM to 12 AM) at the bar. The bar features a large selection of whiskey and southern cocktails like the Mississippi Moonlight and PB&J Old Fashioned, as well as boozy floats and shakes.

Actually, with a great food menu, live music, and a full bar, you might find yourself spending quite a bit of time here. Of note, you do not need a reservation to enjoy the live music or bar.

While dining at this specialty restaurant, you can dive into selections including calamari, oysters, mussels, clam chowder, fish & chips, a twin lobster tail dinner, surf & turf, or the Captain’s Platter. With so many seafood selections, this restaurant is certainly a great catch.

Most meals on a Royal Caribbean cruise ship are rather predictable. A round of drinks, three courses, friendly service, and perhaps even the servers parading around the dining room with napkins waving in the air. So, when we were enjoying our meal on the last night of our Utopia of the Seas cruise and witnessed buffalo stampeding by our window, we knew this wasn’t going to be an ordinary dining experience. But, the scenery was only the beginning of our immersive evening at the new Royal Railway – Utopia Station.

Waiting for the Royal Railway Utopia Station

This one-of-a-kind experience on Utopia of the Seas blends elements of dinner theater, theme park attraction, and cuisine. But, all this hoopla does comes with a fairly steep price tag. So, we share our honest Royal Railway – Utopia Station review to help you decide if it is worth breaking the bank on your next cruise.

Inside the Royal Railway – Utopia Station

Overview & Pricing

  • Price: Adults- $74.99 increasing to $119 | Children- $24.99, plus 18% service charge
  • Cuisine: This multi-course menu features Southwestern flavors, including spicy starters, hearty entrees, and decadent desserts, that pair with the Wild West theme.
  • Dress Code: While there is no formal dress code, guests are encouraged to wear their favorite Western-inspired outfits. So, cowboy hats, boots, and slip-knot ties are more than welcome. You can also go business casual, like in the main dining room.

For most of the cruise, the large ticker board outside of the main dining room, portside on deck 4 aft, seems out of place. During the day, the board displays the station’s name and not much else.

Yet, twice each evening, this station comes to life with the appearance of railway crew. Not to mention, the ticker board displays the names of the lucky cruisers who scored tickets to board the Royal Railway -Utopia Station bound for Grand Junction.

Royal Railway - Utopia Station

We were lucky enough to book a ride on this Royal Railway during the last night of our cruise.

On the day of our train departure, we received a telegram and tickets in our stateroom. Remember to bring the tickets with you, as you will need them to board.

For added theming, the chief engineer even left a voicemail on our stateroom telephone as a friendly reminder not to be late. Just like your cruise ship, this train has a tight schedule and will leave with or without you.

Getting Ready to Ride

About 30 minutes before your scheduled dinner time, the station opens to reveal a loading platform and two railway cars. Upon checking in, a member of the railway crew directs you to this loading platform and offers up some flasks of apple-flavored moonshine.

All guests are asked to arrive no later than 20 minutes before their scheduled dinner time (ours was 6 PM) to ensure the train departs on time without any unwanted visitors. It’s rumored that there are outlaws in the area looking to hitch a ride.

Atmosphere & Theming

Royal Caribbean made sure to go all in on the theming. This queue area felt like the pre-show area you would expect to find in a Disney theme park attraction. In fact, this interactive dinner theater is probably the most immersive and well-themed experience at sea.

While enjoying our moonshine on the loading platform, railway staff dropped hints about the events that were about to unfold. Once our party was called to board the train, it was time to leave the rest of the cruise behind and set off on our adventure through the American Frontier.

Stepping on to the Royal Railway – Utopia Station felt like stepping back in time. The immaculately detailed cars immediately transported us to the early 19th century.

With the stage set, it took only a few minutes to forget we were on one of the world’s largest cruise ships. For the next 90 minutes, we would be in the center of a Wild West adventure.

Be sure to pay attention to all of the “small talk” that occurs between the performers. There is a lot going on during this multi-sensory dinner train ride, so you don’t want to miss anything.

Inside the train car on the Royal Railway - Utopia Station

Royal Railway – Utopia Station Menu

A meal at the Royal Railway Utopia Station is not cheap for a specialty dinner experience. With prices reaching up to $119 a person, plus an 18% service charge, the menu itself is only a slight upgrade from the main dining room.

There is also a small signature cocktail menu. Thankfully, our Diamond vouchers covered the drinks at the Station. The cocktails are also covered in the Royal Caribbean drink package.

I went with the Sarsaparilla Old-Fashioned, which perfectly fit this dinner experience. Heidi went with the Pisco Sour, which was reportedly the sweetest drink on the menu. Let’s just say she preferred the apple moonshine we had before leaving the station over this drink.

Royal Caribbean describes this specialty restaurant as a five-course meal, but that is a bit of a stretch. After settling in with the menu, all guests receive an amuse-bouche — a mini cowboy hat pastry filled with BBQ chicken.

From here, guests order off a three-course menu filled with a variety of American flavors.

For starters, we dug into the Empanada Trio, the popular Fart & Dart Beans, and the Golden Chicken Nuggets. Honestly, these items were good but not worthy of the up-charge price.

Perhaps one of the best parts of the meal was the bread basket. I mean the Outlaw Bread Cart. After all, we can’t miss out on any of the theming. We guess this is the additional course that Royal Caribbean is referring to when describing the Royal Railway – Utopia Station menu. This cart features a hearty bread selection along with a cheesy pimento dip and onion butter.

For dinner, I went with Braised Short Ribs. The bountiful portion was tender and juicy, with plenty of flavor and rich sauce. Heidi went with the Roasted Poussin. This chicken dish came with potatoes and vegetables. It was a meal that one wouldn’t pass up at a nearby saloon.

For dessert, we tested out the two different options, the Royal Railway Cigar and Denver Gold Bar. The clear winner was the Royal Railway Cigar.

This chocolatey dessert was velvety smooth and super sweet, not to mention photo-worthy. It was just the right touch for this final course along our adventure.

Riding the Royal Railway – Utopia Station

While the menu pairs well with the restaurant’s theme, the main draw to the Royal Railway is the interactive show. The total experience is unlike anything else at sea, part simulator ride, part theater.

While Disney Cruise Line does offer a dinner with characters as part of its rotational dining, Royal Railway goes one step further with the immersion. Using technology that is reminiscent of the Hogwarts Express in Universal Studios, the railway car takes cruisers on a journey from the Utopia Station to Grand Junction via digital windows near each table.

Once departing, the window blinds rose to display a detailed and intricate Western landscape. As the trip progressed, a cast of characters routinely entered and exited the train car. With the ever-changing vistas and developing stories, it is tough to absorb everything that is happening, not to mention enjoy the multi-course dinner.

This simulator ride, complete with realistic sound effects, made us feel like we were really riding in a train with the changing views outside of our window. Not to mention, the live-action skits made us feel like we were part of the hijinks taking place.

Along the way, the conductor even read out telegrams to some cruisers that had the whole train car laughing. Additionally, the Chief Engineer intermittently comes over the PA to announce upcoming destinations and share facts about each stop. His short banter included plenty of dad jokes for good measure.

The Conductor on the Royal Railway

We don’t want to spoil the plot, but let’s just say that we may have encountered the notorious Yates Triplets along the way too. Law enforcement even gets involved as the gang attempts to acquire the “Royal Bling”.

This multi-senorsory “show” is light-hearted and family-friendly. However, it is also fast-paced. At times, the Royal Railway can be overstimulating. It was difficult for our table of three to enjoy our meal, watch the changing scenery, and follow along with the story unfolding in the train car aisle beside us. Not to mention, get photos and videos of the experience.

Overall, the timing of this experience felt rushed. With the dinner on a time schedule, we felt forced to hand over our unfinished plates to the servers. Sure, we might have spent a few extra minutes taking videos and photos, but we weren’t the only ones doing so. In fact, I don’t think we finished any of our courses during this experience.

And just like that, before I could have two bites of dessert, the train ride was over. Our server delivered the check, while the train car doors were opening to let us know we were back at the station.

Overall Royal Railway – Utopia Station Review

Our exploration of the Wild West on the Royal Railway -Utopia Station was engaging, fun, and tasty. However, the current iteration of the show was overwhelming. Royal Caribbean needs to work on the timing by either removing some of the scenes or making the entire experience longer.

There never seemed to be a lull in the action to actually enjoy our meal. From food and drink orders and delivery, to the different locales on the screens, to the plot unfolding in the train car, to the overhead PA announcements and telegram deliveries, something seemed to be occurring the entire time.

There wasn’t any time to enjoy our courses or hold a conversation.

We appreciated the detailed storytelling and supporting materials. From the map of our travels to the tickets in our cabin, this is truly an immersive experience.

But, this level of detail meant the dinner and show were on a tight schedule. There was little wiggle room to get a second round of drinks or extend any of the courses. So, make sure to eat fast and have your camera ready. You never know when something photo-worthy might occur inside or “outside” the train.

With a bit of work, we think this Royal Railway experience could be successful for the brand. This Wild West Train Ride is something the whole family will love. Royal Caribbean has also hinted at expanding to other concepts like a more upscale Silk Road trip. While our experience wasn’t perfect, we do see this technology being yet another differientating factor for Royal Caribbean and can’t wait to see how it evolves.

So, is the Royal Railway – Utopia Station worth it for you?

Book the Royal Railway – Utopia Station if:

  • You are a fan of immersive experiences and technology-enhanced attractions on land or at sea.
  • You are a regular Royal Caribbean cruiser and need to try the newest and most innovative experience on a cruise ship.
  • You are looking for something unique to celebrate a special occasion or want a truly unforgettable night out with the family.

Skip the Royal Railway – Utopia Station if:

  • You are a foodie and expect the specialty restaurant to excel at providing a fine dining experience.
  • You would prefer to eat at two other specialty restaurants for the same price as dining at the Royal Railway.
  • You like to enjoy a well-paced, quiet meal with few distractions.

Margaritaville at Sea Islander is the second ship in the Margaritaville at Sea fleet. We’ve just returned from one of the ship’s first voyages and made sure to test out all the dining venues. Now, we are back and share all the details with you in our complete guide to the Margaritaville at Sea Islander restaurants with menus. See what we liked and what we suggest you skip during your cruise on this “new” ship.

Complimentary Margaritaville at Sea Islander Restaurants

When it comes to complimentary dining, Margaritaville at Sea offers a traditional main dining room and cruise ship buffet. There’s also free burgers, Mexican, pizza, and ice cream at various stations around the pool deck.

While the main dining room and buffet did fall a bit short for us, we enjoyed the casual options especially the burgers and pizza.

Fins Main Dining Room (Deck 2)

Fins is the main dining room on Margaritaville at Sea Islander. Unlike most cruise line MDR’s, Fins is completely open seating, nightly from 5:30 to 9 PM. There are no set dinner times; there is also no ability to pre-make reservations to dine here.

Each evening, guests need to wait in line to dine at this restaurant. If there are no tables available, you will receive a pager much like a restaurant on land. Unfortunately, the average wait time for a table of two was 40-45 minutes during our sailing.

The restaurant does feature a new menu each evening with a selection of starters, entrees, and desserts. Some of the highlights included the Cajun Gumbo, Caribbean Egg Rolls, Braised Short Ribs, and 48 Hour B&B Pudding. Overall though, we would say this main dining room experience was mediocre at best.

Of note, guests can enjoy all the appetizers and desserts they want, but extra entrees will cost $7 each. Yes, even a second entree costs extra money.

Fins is also open for breakfast from 7:30/8:30 to 9:30/10:30 AM serving typical breakfast selections like omelets, French toast, pancakes, eggs, and breakfast meats.

However, Fins is not open for lunch at all, not even on sea days.

Mexican Cutie Cantina (Deck 9)

Mexican Cutie Cantina is a poolside eatery on the portside of Deck 9 nearby the 5 O’Clock Somewhere Pool. This venue serves quick service style Mexican food for breakfast and lunch. Think BlueIguana Cantina on Carnival or El Loco Fresh on Royal Caribbean.

For breakfast, the venue is open 8 to 10:30 AM daily serving breakfast burritos with Mexican eggs, sausage, chicken, and potatoes, along with additional toppings.

The venue reopens for lunch from 12 to 2/3:30 PM serving tacos and rice bowls. The meat selections include chicken, pork, and beef. Guests can then further customize their meals at the small nearby toppings bar. Cheese quesadillas are also available. However, there is no burrito option for lunch, nor are there nacho chips.

Cheeseburger in Paradise (Deck 9)

Opposite the Mexican Cutie Cantina, you’ll find Cheeseburger in Paradise on the starboard side of the pool deck. As the name implies, this station serves customizable burgers from 12 to 6 PM daily. Toppings include lettuce, tomato, onions, islander sauce, mushrooms, sauteed onions, pickles, hot peppers, and more. Alongside the burgers, you can enjoy some pretty tasty seasoned fries.

If you don’t like burgers, you’re out of luck at this spot as there are no other options available like chicken sandwiches, hot dogs, or veggie burgers. However, if you do like burgers, you don’t want to pass these up as they definitely rival Guy’s Burger Joint on Carnival Cruise Line.

Port of Indecision Buffet (Deck 9)

The Port of Indecision Buffet is Margaritaville at Sea Islander’s pretty lackluster buffet. While technically three stations, there were only two identical stations open during our sailing. The Port of Indecion Buffet serves breakfast from 7 to 10:30 AM, lunch from 12 to 2/3:30 PM, and dinner from 6 to 9:30 PM daily.

Breakfast featured all your typical selections including continental items, eggs and breakfast meats, fruit, and more. For lunch and dinner, you can expect to find a small salad bar, a soup of the day, cold cuts, a limited selection of hot entrees, and desserts. At lunchtime, there’s an area for hot dogs and sausages as well.

In comparison to other cruise line buffets, this one was small and lacked variety. However, the gem here is Frank and Lola’s Pizzeria.

Frank and Lola’s Pizzeria (Deck 9)

Unlike MVAS Paradise which features a pizza parlor, Frank and Lola’s Pizzeria on Islander is found within the buffet. This centrally located station is open from 12 PM to 2 AM daily serving up slices of cheese, pepperoni, or mushroom pizza.

While still good, the slices are smaller and there wasn’t as much variety when compared to Paradise. The wait times for pizza also fluctuate as the pies are small and the staff do not make many at a time. Thus, you might need to wait in line for a bit to get your slice.

Still, it does rival the pizza on Virgin Voyages and Princess Cruises.

Ice Cream (Deck 9)

It’s not a cruise without some soft serve ice cream, right? Luckily, Margaritaville at Sea Islander has two stations, one on each side of the ship near the buffet entrance. These stands serve cones and bowls of vanilla, chocolate, and twist from 12 PM to 9:30 PM daily.

Specialty Margaritaville at Sea Islander Restaurants

While you don’t have to spend money on food while cruising on Margaritaville at Sea Islander, there are quite a few up-charge restaurants that might be worth the splurge. There’s a signature steakhouse along with several casual a la carte options and a Sparkling Wine Brunch.

While the JWB Prime Steakhouse was a bit of a letdown for us, we did enjoy the selections at Island Eats and the Tiki Grill as well as the brunch.

If you are considering dining at a few of these venues, you might want to purchase a dining package. The options available include:

  • Ultimate Dining Chill- $119 per person
  • Prime Dining Package- $69 per person
  • Far Side Sampler Package- $59 per person

Additionally, the Islander Signature Chill Package (from $459 pp) and the Ultimate Islander Escape (from $739 pp) include specialty dining along with many other add ons.

The Ultimate Dining Chill package includes one of each of the following: JWB Steakhouse, Sparkling Wine Brunch at Islander Dining Room, dinner at Islander Dining Room, $25 dining credit for a la carte purchases at each Tiki Grill, Island Eats, and Far Side Sushi. The 18% gratuity is also included.

The Prime Dining package includes one of each of the following: JWB Steakhouse, Sparkling Wine Brunch at Islander Dining Room, and dinner at Islander Dining Room. The 18% gratuity is also included.

The Far Side Sampler package includes a $25 dining credit for a la carte purchases at Tiki Grill, Island Eats, and Far Side Sushi for a value of $75. This package is only available for guests 18+.

Far Side Sushi (Deck 2)

Margaritaville at Sea Islander doesn’t have a dedicated sushi restaurant, but it does offer sushi and a few other Asian-inspired dishes at the Far Side of the World Lounge.

This Pacific-themed venue hosts various activities during the cruise. So, if you get hungry along the way, you can order up a few items off this a la carte menu.

Far Side Sushi is open for lunch on sea days from 12 to 3 PM and nightly from 5 PM to late.

Islander Dining Room (Deck 3)

A bit odd, but the Islander Dining Room serves a dual function. It is the restaurant for suite guests, but also an up-charge restaurant for other guests. Guests can pay $20 per person to dine here for dinner or $15 per person to enjoy Sparkling Wine Brunch on sea days.

Margaritaville at Sea Islander restaurants

The Islander Dining Room is basically the second floor of the Fins Main Dining Room. It serves the same menu as Fins with an additional insert of a few upgraded offerings (3 apps, 2 entrees, and 1 dessert). Although, there’s really nothing all that upscale on these exclusive menus. There’s no lobster or escargot or anything along those lines. Some selections included shrimp cocktail, ahi tuna, crab cake, flat iron steak, blackened salmon, and beef wellington.

Personally, the only benefit to dining here for us was to avoid the wait times at the main dining room.

We did enjoy the Sparkling Wine Brunch though. This menu features both breakfast and lunch items, but given we dined here at 9:30 AM, we only sampled breakfast items. The chicken and waffles and the overnight French toast were both good. There’s also items like steak and eggs, huevos rancheros, and a burger on the menu.

Sparkling Wine Brunch is served from 8:30 to 11:30 AM, and dinner is served nightly from 5:30 to 9 PM. Just like Fins, additional entrees at the Islander Dining Room are also a $7 fee.

Margaritaville Coffee Shop (Deck 9)

Also located within the Port of Indecision buffet is the Margaritaville Coffee Shop. This venue serves specialty coffee along with upcharge breakfast, lunch, and snack options. Unlike most cruise lines though, this specialty coffee is NOT included in the Islander drink package.

Thus, all drinks here will cost you extra money. As an example of pricing, an espresso is $3, a medium latte is $5.25, chai tea is $4.50, and an iced frappe is $5.50. Further, you’ll have to pay $7 for a lunch sandwich, $5 for croissants, $3 for cinnamon rolls, and $4-6 for pastries.

While specialty coffees are a given for us on a cruise, we did try a few of the upcharge food items as well which were hit or miss.

The Margaritaville Coffee Shop is open daily from 6:30 AM to 10 PM. But, unlike Paradise, it doesn’t have that coffee shop vibe where you’d want to chill or maybe do a little work. The only seating is shared seating with the buffet.

Tiki Grill (Deck 9)

Located aft on Deck 9 in the adults-only area are two up-charge food counters. The Tiki Grill is on the portside. This venue serves a menu of upgraded food items at a la carte prices. There’s chicken wings, conch fritters, buffalo shrimp, and more. Everything we sampled here was good, and we would definitely pay to dine here again.

However, the venue is only open from 3 PM to late. It would have been nice to have these offerings open at lunchtime on sea days as we ended up waiting until 3 PM for lunch on a couple days just to try these items.

Tiki Grill Menu

Island Eats (Deck 9)

Across the way on the starboard side, also right near the Tiki Pool and Tiki Bar, is Island Eats. Similar to Tiki Grill, this venue also serves a menu of upgraded items at a la carte prices daily from 3 PM to late.

While both menus are heavy on seafood, this one serves lobster rolls, ceviche, crab legs, mussels, and more. Even though it was $18, the lobster roll was good, and we would definitely recommend trying out some of the offerings here.

Of note, if using the dining package at either of these spots, the $25 credit must be used all at one time and can not be split over multiple visits.

Island Eats Menu

JWB Prime Steakhouse (Deck 10)

Lastly, JWB Prime Steakhouse is the most traditional of the Margaritaville at Sea Islander specialty restaurants. This restaurant is open nightly for dinner from 5:30 to 9:30 PM and has an upcharge of $55 per person.

This restaurant is located on Deck 10 overlooking the open atrium which does make it a bit noisy and takes away some of the ambiance that you’d expect at an upscale steakhouse.

The menu features a wide selection of starters from pork belly, to wagyu meatballs, oysters, burrata, onion soup, lobster bisque, and salads. For entrees, the cuts of beef are the obvious choice but there’s also short ribs, rack of lamb, pork chop, pan-roasted chicken, a catch of the day, and lobster on the menu.

Despite the $55 charge to dine here, lobster tail and surf & turf are both an additional $24 charge. If you want to add a 5 oz. grilled lobster tail to your entree that will cost an extra $20.

The filet we had here was perfectly seared to the requested medium-rare temperature. We also enjoyed the pork belly and bib & walnut salad; however, the meatball, burrata, and all the sides were disappointing.

Honestly, we probably wouldn’t pay to dine here again. Instead, we’d spend the money on the up-charge casual eats.

What is Rotational Dining on Disney Cruise Line? https://eatsleepcruise.com/disney-cruise-rotational-dining/ https://eatsleepcruise.com/disney-cruise-rotational-dining/#respond Fri, 05 Jul 2024 13:00:00 +0000 https://eatsleepcruise.com/?p=87722 Dining is an important aspect of any cruise vacation. So, we break down everything you need to know about Disney Cruise rotational dining.

Planning a Disney Cruise vacation is exciting! But, even for experienced cruisers on other cruise lines, the subtle Disney differences can be a bit confusing. One drastic difference between Disney Cruise Line and other major cruise lines is dinner! Knowing how dining onboard Disney Cruise ships works is essential; everyone must eat, right? We’re breaking down all the details on Disney Cruise Line’s rotational dining so you can be informed before your next magical vacation.

What is Disney Cruise Rotational Dining?

Disney Cruise Line does dinner differently than most cruise lines, having guests rotate between the main dining rooms on the ship throughout the cruise.

Disney Cruise Rotational Dining is a dining schedule of the complimentary dining venues set for all staterooms onboard the ship. All guests receive a dining time, table number, and rotation schedule upon boarding their ship.

Disney Wish Bahamas Cruise Review

All five Disney ships, soon to be six with Disney Treasure debuting in December, have three main dining rooms.

The three themed dining rooms on each ship are:

  • Disney Magic – Animator’s Palate, Lumiere’s, Rapunzel’s Royal Table
  • Disney Wonder – Animator’s Palate, Tiana’s Place, Tritons
  • Disney Dream – Animator’s Palate, Enchanted Garden, Royal Palace
  • Disney Fantasy – Animator’s Palate, Enchanted Garden, Royal Court
  • Disney Wish – Arendelle: A Frozen Dining Adventure, Worlds of Marvel, 1923
  • Disney Treasure – Plaza de Coco, Worlds of Marvel, 1923

Guests will dine at each themed restaurant throughout their vacation at least once. They will rotate back through the venues a second time on longer sailings. Don’t worry, though; it won’t be repetitive. Each restaurant has a different menu and different entertainment (if applicable) on the second night. Each of the venues also have their own unique theming and decor.

Disney Fantasy cruise review

For example:

  • On 3-night sailings, guests dine at each restaurant once
  • On 4-night sailings, guests dine at each restaurant once, one restaurant twice
  • On 7-night sailings, guests dine at each restaurant twice, one restaurant three times

Disney cruise rotational dining ensures all guests enjoy everything each MDR has to offer while still providing the best customer service at sea! How, you ask? Well, not only does your party rotate through the venues each night of your sailing – but so does your staff! Your waiter, assistant waiter, and even the head waiter rotate on your same dining schedule. You keep the same table number each night regardless of the restaurant, and your wait staff is waiting for you when you arrive!

This helps the staff get to know guests’ likes and dislikes, favorite drinks, any allergy preferences, and more! Not having to repeat your preferences to a different staff each night is a stress relief for many.

While the dining times are fixed, nightly entertainment occurs around these schedules, so you won’t have to worry about missing any shows. Disney cruise ships feature two nightly showings of the main production. If you have the main dining time of 5:45 PM, your show is usually around 8:30 PM. If you have a late dining time of 8 PM, your show is usually around 6 PM.

How Do I Find My Rotational Dining Schedule?

The most important thing to do before your Disney cruise is to download the Disney Cruise Line Navigator app. The app is the hub of all information onboard the ship, such as activities, deck plans, hours of operations, a way to communicate with the rest of your party, and, of course, your dining information.

Once onboard the ship, the Navigator app will show your restaurant assignment for each evening, your table number, and your dining time. The restaurant and dining time is listed clearly in multiple locations throughout the app. Additionally, Guest Services will be able to help with all dining questions.

For those interested in a specific dining rotation, guests can put in a dining rotation request, though they aren’t guaranteed. Guests can make a dining rotation request by contacting Disney Cruise Line directly by phone or using the chat feature on the website. This may help if you are trying to plan other activities such as specialty dining and don’t want to miss a specific venue.

What If I Am Sailing with Multiple Staterooms?

For those sailing with multiple staterooms in their party, don’t worry. Although each stateroom gets its own dining time and rotation, guests can link staterooms so that the Disney dining team can ensure you are sat together.

If multiple staterooms are booked under the same account, they will automatically be linked together. If not, guests can call Disney Cruise Line and provide the necessary information, such as the reservation number and stateroom number, in order to link them.

How Does Rotational Dining Compare to Other Cruise Lines?

Most cruise lines have an early and a late traditional dining option, along with a more flexible option. Unfortunately, Disney Cruise Line does not offer any form of My Time or Anytime dining.

On Disney Cruise Line, there are two set dining times only at 5:45 PM and 8 PM. Each stateroom receives a dining time, with half the ship participating in early dining and the other half participating in late dining. Your dining time is assigned at the time of booking.

Though the 5:45 PM dining slots fill up fast, there is a waitlist. On embarkation day, there’s also a dining help desk for any dining requests, such as time changes. It is not a guarantee, but it has worked well for us in the past.

Disney Wish Restaurants Guide With Menus

The big difference with Disney Cruise Line vs. other cruise lines is flexibility when it comes to dining. Many other cruise lines are cycling to a more relaxed dining approach, Freestyle Dining on Norwegian Cruise Line for example. With this option, guests can arrive at any time within the dining window to request a table. This means they can eat at a different time each night, even changing up the number of guests in their party. But, they will have a different table and waitstaff. This concept is similar to dining at restaurants back home.

Another big difference is that Disney Cruise Line has three complimentary main dining venues, each with completely different theming. Additionally, most Disney Cruise Line restaurants offer some type of entertainment during dinner, while other cruise lines do not. Thus, Disney Cruise rotational dining lets guests experience it all, something that’s not necessary on other cruise lines because the main dining rooms are usually interchangeable.

Is Rotational Dining Mandatory?

Though complimentary room service is available and at least one section of the pool deck dining options is available on Disney Cruise Line for dinner, there is no buffet during the evening hours. Thus, the rotational dining venues are the only option for guests to have an included table-service dinner. This is in contrast to other cruise lines that typically have multiple dining venues available during dinner hours. Adults-only, extra-charge venues are available on DCL but do require an advanced reservation which is often difficulty to secure.

On shorter 3- or 4-night sailings, the best option is probably to eat on your rotational dining schedule to ensure you don’t miss any entertainment. On longer sailings where guests will visit the dining venues multiple times, it wouldn’t be a lack of value to skip the rotational dinner one evening to enjoy an adults-only dinner or family dinner by the pool. But, the choice is ultimately up to you.

Rotational Dining Overview

Rotational dining onboard Disney Cruise Line ships is a great way to ensure that guests get to experience all the magic that Disney Cruise Line has to offer. It not only ensures everyone a spot at the dinner table but also a front-row seat to Disney entertainment throughout your meals.

Guests on 3-night sailings will attend each venue once, while guests on longer sailings will repeat venues with different menus and entertainment. On 4-night and 7-night sailings, the venues will feature a special Pirate Night menu across all three dining rooms. For example, a 7-night rotation might look like 1231231. Yet, you’ll never have the same menu even though you are dining in one venue three times.

While other cruise lines have tried similar approaches, DCL pulls off rotational dining flawlessly. Combining the high level of service received during traditional dining with a new and exciting experience each evening is something only Disney Cruise Line offers. While the lack of flexibility and evening dining options might be a turnoff for some, Disney Cruise rotational dining is an ideal setup for those who enjoy sit-down meal service on a cruise with a touch of Disney magic along the way.
